Her life journey is not by happenstance, but designed and inspired by God.
Zelda Miles is becoming a household name as “Party Like Zelda.” She is a wife, mother, writer, editor, designer and planner whose trademark is “simple but elegant.”
Growing up in Marion, Alabama – home of Judson College and Marion Military Institute – she dreamed of leaving the dirt roads and solitary “country life.” But it was in the country that she learned some valuable lessons from her grandmother: how to set a table and that “young ladies should be seen and not heard.” That lesson would be valuable as she entered the world of media as a journalist.
Zelda attended The University of Alabama where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She moved to Birmingham, Alabama and began her career at the state’s largest daily newspaper covering community news. In the ensuing years, she’d put her organization skills to use planning and hosting conferences and family gatherings.
In 2014, she launched byZeldaO, LLC and added weddings, events and party décor to her catalog of creative passions. She is a certified wedding and event planner. And because she is passionate about family life, she recently began a segment she calls Zelda at Home where she showcases Pampered Chef products as an independent consultant. Her family isn’t just her cheerleaders, but are vital members of team.
